LaMipa at Beijing Design Week

According to Sofia Machado Santos, co-founder of LaMIPA, the first Iberian architecture exhibition held in Beijing, which promoted the group of architects present on the LaMIPA platform, represented in this initiative by 70 architectural firms (35 Portuguese and 35 Spanish), it was a success.

In addition to the 70 films showed, four lectures by architects from Portugal and Spain were held on three separate days as spaces for dialogue and sharing the promotion of best architecture practices in the Iberian Peninsula:

25th september
(10h30)
CML> Masonry Project (Bruno Silvestre + Alexandre Dias + Luís Spranger) / Santa-Rita architects
(17h00)
Forum / AQSO office architects

26th september
(17h00)
Souto de Moura / Burgos & Garrido

28th september
(10h30)
Proap and OAB - Carlos Ferrater

The exhibition had a great impact by betting on the architecture and built space exhibition. He aroused a great deal of interest in the academic, industrial and real estate developers by combining award-winning workshops, the three Pritzker Prizes in the Iberian Peninsula, a wide range of works and above all the extensive association of architectural firms. This association was considered an example of coordination, operative capacity and effectiveness, which underlined the strong possibilities for future business and entry into the Chinese market.
